Education Background
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) in your specific field of study.
English Proficiency
Must demonstrate objective proficiency to function in the U.S. and participate fully in the program activities.

Departmental Invitation
Identify a faculty host at VACU to serve as your supervisor and collaborator.
Funding Verification
Obtain bank statements or scholarship letters covering the entire appointment duration.
Document Submission
Submit CV, Passport, Offer Letter, and English Proficiency evidence to the department.
DS-2019 Processing
The RO or ARO reviews the request and issues your DS-2019 form via email after departmental approval.
Required Checklist
Important Information
Visa regulations allow entry to the U.S. up to **30 days before** your DS-2019 start date. Notify the **RO or ARO** if you cannot arrive by the start date.
